| The purpose of the Black Transfer Club club is to ensure that Black/ African American transfer students are supported at SDSU and able to receive the necessary resources and assistance to thrive academically, socially, and personally.
This student organization is committed to addressing the unique challenges that Black/African American transfer students often face, such as cultural adjustment, potential social isolation, and the need for a strong sense of community. The Black Transfer Club aims to create an inclusive and equitable environment where Black/ African American transfer students feel valued and supported. This support not only helps to bridge any gaps in their transition but also fosters a sense of belonging and empowerment, contributing to their overall success and well-being at San Diego State University.
