| Purpose | |
| The Choir Executive Board represents all of the SDSU Choirs on campus. We are responsible for recruiting students by auditioning for one of the four choirs that is taught by either Dr. Arian Khaefi and Dr. Ramon Cardenas. The choir ensembles that make up the program include University Choir, Treble Choir, Tenor and Bass Chorus, and the Chamber Choir. Not only do we recruit students to the choir, the choir board is responsible for hosting social events to connect to all students on campus, set up choir concerts, and volunteer for the annual High School Choral Festival. The High School Choral Festival is the biggest event held in the Fall semester which not only provides students with the meaningful experience of connecting the San Diego community through choir, but it acts as a way to help recruitment for the university. More specifically recruitment for high school interested in the School of Music and Dance. Our overall purpose and goal is to connect students through music by either singing in the choir and building a musical community on campus that is open for all students. |
