| Purpose | |
| The purposes of this organization are to promote the interest and education of Astronomy to society members and interested members of the SDSU community and general public. In addition, it would help to integrate both students and faculty from the SDSU Astronomy Department, which would enhance the quality of education of each student. As a result, it would enforce professional integrity in academic work and provide outlets for academic stress. |
