| Mission Statement
The San Diego State University (SDSU) Ceramic Arts Association is the educational mission of the ceramics area in the School of Art + Design (the School). Activities include bringing visiting ceramic artists to campus for lectures, critiques and demonstrations; providing materials and resources for students beyond those available; providing workshops; and assisting students in attending national educational ceramic conferences while promoting exhibition opportunities. An overarching goal is to promote the ceramics program to attract the best quality students and to promote the ceramic arts within the SDSU community and beyond. The Association generally promotes the ceramic area through volunteer efforts and social activities. |
